Virtual telescope Bellatrix Observatory

"Exclusive Live Shows"

The "Live Shows" consist of shared astronomical observations inspired by a selected astronomical topic. The shows are live and interactively managed by the professional staff of the Virtual Telescope, explaining things and answerings questions from the participants.  Each live show is given as a video/audio streaming in real time, while live images will be displayed on the Virtual Telescope website. Participants can ask for the images they like once the show is finished; thay can also save images themselves during the show.

The enviromental parameters are monitored by the supervisor, who eventually decides to close the observatory in case of bad weather: in this case, if the show lasted less than the half of the scheduled duration, no costs are charged, otherwise the show is considered properly concluded.

The scheduled session can be cancelled at the last minute because of important astrophysical events: some variable star outbursts, transient pheanomena, unusual cometary activity, bright near-Earth Objects are Targers of Opportunity (ToO) for the Observatory.
