At school with the Virtual Telescope
(Students and researches with a great project in mind are invited to chek our "Pro Bono" telescope time section). The Virtual Telescope is happy to offer to students and teachers a chance to leave for a journey of discovery. Astronomy is the perfect ground where languages, means and techniques from other disciplines can be seen at work. The images retrieved with the Virtual Telescope make it possible to change a lesson into a memorable discovery experience, sitting on the first line, sharing the unforgettable view of the Cosmos. The Virtual Telescope can also be very useful to students involved in graduade studies. The staff are available to students and teachers activities, where requested projects can be designed to fit specified activities. The Universe has never been so close! For children of primary and secondary age specialized teaching materials and resources have been created to fit in with Key Stage 1 - 4 and the wider UK curriculum and can be obtained through request!
