Astronomers Without Borders (AWB) and the Virtual Telescope Project are happy to announce that a new and unforgettable astronomical experience  is coming! After the excellent feedback from our previous, online observing sessions we are ready to show the Universe through the Internet again, having fun from home, but meeting many people from all around the globe.

The Virtual Telescope will use its cutting-edge technologies and widely acknowledged international experience to offer a memorable journey across space and time. Galaxies, nebulae and clusters of stars will be some of the many, beautiful cosmic jewels you will see in real-time, with the live commentary by Gianluca Masi, astrophysicist.

While enjoying the Universe, you can chat with many friends online and even interact with the astronomer onsite, feeling just one people, one sky: we all share the same sky!

The event is free and it is scheduled for 9 Dec. 2010, starting at 22:00 Universal Time.
